Nick Cave komt op woensdag 30 oktober naar het Sportpaleis in Antwerpen. Hij zal er samen met The Bad Seeds hun nieuwe album ‘Wild God’ voorstellen.

‘Wild God’ zal op 30 augustus het levenslicht zien. De productie was in handen van Nick en Warren, David Fridmann mixte de tapes en de muzikale alchemie werd verzorgd door Nick, The Bad Seeds, Colin Greenwood en Luis Almau.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds werd opgericht in 1983 en kent sindsdien een groeiend succes. Artistieke hoogtepunten aanstippen, is een onmogelijke opdracht. Live worden The Bad Seeds een steeds hechtere groep. Een collectie karakterkoppen (Thomas Wydler, Martyn P. Casey, Jim Sclavunos, George Vjestica, Larry Mullins en natuurlijk luitenant Warren Ellis) die Nick telkens boven zichzelf doet uitstijgen.

Nick Cave en zijn Bad Seeds staan in elk geval te popelen om hun nieuwe album ‘Wild God‘ aan het publiek voor te stellen: “I never think about how a record is going to go live, it never, ever occurs to me. The lyric writing process is way too hard to take ideas like that into consideration. But, when I listen to ‘Wild God’ now, I think we can really do something epic with these songs live.
